Saint Peter Basilica is open from 7am to 6pm . It has free entry however there is a dress restriction. No shorts above the knees can be worn and shoulders must be covered by all. To visit inside the Holy Vatican Grottos (Tombs of the Popes) it can be accessed through then right transept and is open from 7am to 5pm.The Historical-Artistic Museum (Treasure of Saint Peter) can be accessed by the left aisle of the Basilica and is open from 7am to the 5pm. Tickets are € 5. The Dome is open from 8am at 4:30pm and entry is from the Portico. Entry is € 7 with the elevator or € 4 without the elevator. Please note there is a lot of stair climbing involved and a mid range level of fitness is required.

The Vatican Museums and The Sistine Chapel are situated at the beginning of the Vatican Avenue . Open 7 days a week with the exception of religious festivities. Cost is € 12 (within 5 days from its issue it alsoallows entry to the Historical Vatican Museum).

You can also wait as the last Sunday of every month is free.

The Vatican Gardens are open every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. If you wish to visit you will be required to book at the counter situated at the entry of the Vatican Museums . A visit into the Gardens commence at the 10am and they last approximately 2 hours. Entry for a full fare is € 12 .
