The Fountain of Trevi is one of the most famous attraction of Rome: every tourist includes a visit to it because the tradition says that people who come here and throw a coin in this fountain tourning one's back to it, will propitiate a next and happy return to Rome.
This monument celebrates the great aqueduct in Rome carrying the drinking water to the city, built in 19 b.C. by Agrippa, which ended right in the place where is the fountain. The Trevi Fountain counts more than eighteen milions of visitors per year!
