The Imperial Rooms is a newly opened family-run guest house situated in the ancient historical and commercial centre of Rome. It is superbly located facing the magnificent Colosseum in the heart of Rome's city center. The Imperial Rooms is well connected with public transport that makes your travel easy whilst in Rome. The closest subway station is only two minutes walking distance from the hotel. Termini Central Railway Station is just two stops from the Colosseum metro stop. Nearby the Imperial Rooms you can visit fine shops, art galleries, museums, theatres and restaurants.

HOW TO REACH THE PROPERTY - Map and Street View
- From Fiumicino airport, located 35 Km far from Rome west side:
From Leonardo da Vinci Airport (Fiumicino), except for a taxi( fixed governement price 40,00 €) you can take the train Leonardo Express which leaves from there at every 30 minutes and stops directly at Roma Termini station

By public transportation:
By metro you can take line B(blue line) towards Laurentina, just 2 stops and you will arrive at the Colloseum. Get out from the metro station, go left and walk about 150 mt. At your right you will find Via di San Giovani in Laterano where at nr.10 you will see the Imperial Rooms.

If you do not wish to take the metro you can reach us by bus nr. 75 from Termini station and stop in Colloseum Square where is the beginning of Via San Giovani in Laterano; at 20 mt. from the bus stop you will find the Imperial Rooms at nr.10.

- The room was perfect for a family of four and the location could not be better. The management and staff were very helpful and gave me information and much appreciated advice.about restaurants, places of interest etc. They also collected us from the airport which is a major plus and well worth the sixty Euros saving alot of time and hastle. It can get noisy at night time.

- We've just returned from a short break in Rome, and stayed in the Imperial Rooms. The location could not be better, with the Colosseum just over the road, and the Forum and Palatine Hill just a tiny bit further. There were also some good restaurants nearby, and the train station a couple of minutes walk to make further exploration of the city.
On arrival the receptionist noticed that my partner had a birthday during our stay, and on the evening before the birthday a complementary bottle of wine was left in the room with glasses and opener! It's things like this that, for us, turn a good place into a great place.

- I was in town for a conference and needed to be near a metro station. The hotel is about one block from the Colosseum station. The fact that this hotel was practically across the street from the Colosseum was a huge bonus. And the fact that there is a super lively gay nightlife street scene downstairs was an extra bonus.
